My old site i do not imagine
me is still around; i like the identity and my dad section.
My livejournal
has some all-access stuff and a lot of friends-only entries that
include occasional drafts of pieces I'm working on. Friend me and say
hi!
My resource
lists are sort of out-of-date, but still a good place to
start looking for queer or trans Muslims and people of color.
My favorite gayrab site:
I used to work with Bint el Nas.
Sadly, no new issues are being produced, but it's still a great
resource for folks interested in queer Arab-world women and
transgendered folks.
My favorite queer Arab hiphop band:
Juha
is so completely great; i wish they'd release another album. Polari is
soulful and radical and playful and hot hot hot. Plus they are super
nice!
Fabulous Muslim resources:
Al Fatiha is a wonderful resource for queer Muslims,
but they don't seem to be online anymore. Anybody know how to reach
them?
Muslim
Wake Up is a terrific resource for those interested in
feminism and Islam.
